Graduated from Texas Tech University with a BA in History and a Minor in Education in 1996. He earned his Master's in Educational Leadership in June 2021 from Stephen F. Austin University. Coach Baker is entering his 29th year in education and his 17th year of teaching and coaching at Krum High School.
Coach Baker has been married to Keely Baker for twenty-nine years and has two children, Grayson Baker (19) and Sarah Jo Baker (15).
